Dublin bus

The most common and available form of transport in Dublin is Dublin Bus which serves all of the city and surrounding suburbs. The Dublin Bus app is the best way of finding your way around the city and getting real time information on bus routes.

The dart

The Dart is our suburban train service which operates between Howth in the north of the county and Bray in the south of the county. The Dart is an excellent way to explore some of the seaside towns such as Malahide, Howth, Dalkey and Bray. Below is a map of the DART lines.

The luas

The Luas is the recently built tram system which links some of Dublin's northern and southern suburbs with the city. The Luas may only be relevant to you if you live on the Red or Green Luas lines, but it is also an easy way of crossing from north to south within the city or vice vearsa.
